Original, free, imitative fantasia in 7 sections. Pujol’s transcription is poor. Inaccurate in bars 29, 32-33, 35-37, 50. Pujol’s commentary is also poor: themes 1 = Conde Claros[!! perhaps some vague similarity.] A short work of 76 compases. My analysis is by thematically determined sections, although the piece flows through its entirety without any marked breaks. The intensity curves in my graph show more adequately the flow of the work. Considerable variety in the treatment of each section. Somewhat similar to some of Mudarra’s short pieces. The work finishes on A = IV of mode.
