Polythematic, semi-imitative fantasia. Again quite pleasant yet nothing distinguished. Opens with theme 1 imitations >> free >> theme 2 given thrice beginning in compass 45 >> free >> compass 81 theme 7 heard twice and partial imitation in S >> theme 1 >> theme 4 >> free.
Short phrases, cohesion harmonically through harmonic rhythm determined by cadences. Heavy reliance on IV, V, I formulae. The work thus is quite a good example of a loose structure, made to seem adequate through harmonic thinking.
