Typically Pisador. Monothematic. All the frustration and lack of direction shines through, despite a pretty beginning and some other nice passages.
Two main features. (1) Theme treated as a cantus firmus rather than imitated. [Only imitation is a3 canon at opening and briefly 74-75 only overlapping, and also compases 79-82].
(2) Most statements are in inner voices. Of a total of 26 statements only 13 are in the outermost sounding voices, 7 of these are in the bottom of the texture.
